Bucket Seats that look right?
Seeing Longhorn Man's truck made me think about how much I love bucket seats. Both my cars have em, so the truck might as well too. I like the ones Longhorn man put in, but I know I'll never find a set like that for a reasonable price, so I'll just keep looking. The early stock buckets are alright, but I'd rather a console than a buddy seat. Are there any stock buckets out of anything else, or any aftermarket ones for that matter, that fit like the stock ones or the ones Longhorn man has? I was going to restore my old stock bench seat, but it needs new foam, a new cover and the seat adjuster is rusted and broken off, and that's just what I can see by looking at it still bolted in!

Hey Muddpile, Already Gone adverstised a set of grey buckets/console in nice shape from a 96 Silverado recently. He wanted $400.00 US, which is about $488 CAD. I was thinking strongly about them but have not decided what to do about seating in my wreck yet. Maybe they are still for sale??

And if it is too late, e-mail him. He'll probably have a set that he'll sell you outright. I paid 60 + 65 for shipping when i asked for one off the auction block. They tend to go for a bit less on e-bay, but I was able to straight up buy them and no worrys about last min snippers...was worth the extra 20 or so bucks IMO. They were still dirt cheap.

It says in his auction he won't ship to Canada . Oh well, looks like I'm back to the drawing board. I'll email em and see how much it would cost to get them here. Just a question, but approximately how heavy are they? Just wondering because of shipping etc. I decided to move my tank to under the bed, so that should help with room some more. How do you like em so far?

Parts in Canada
Hey Muddpile, I found this e-bay seller from Canada who has a lot of truck/car stuff. I haven't bought anything because the shipping is to much but his parts look good, no junk.

Thanks for the heads up American Rider! Looks like he does get some nice stuff in. Maybe I won't have to build a console after all.
