any difference in headliner or no headliner?

my cab i have had a headliner in it. i dont want to spend the 65 bucks for the trim for a headliner i dont really like anyway. is there any difference in the roofs or can i just weld the holes shut and be done?

I would think the stock headliner contributes a small amount of sound deadening---------??

my truck has headers to glass packs out the side lol....sound deadening is non existant. im just not much for the whole chrome trimmed prissy headliner thing. im running stock steel door panels and the plain painted 67 glovebox door and bezel. and a set of those seats like longhornman got. so it's just gonna be plain jane.

I am gathering from your question that you have not removed it and want to know what to expect. If that's the case, the roof underneath it is the same as in a non-headliner truck except for the aforementioned holes. You will have glue reside to contend with.

:mp:

New smilies too
