If you read what he says, the clock isn't even available yet. He says he is trying to determine if there is a market for this clock. Why doesn't he just market the thing and go broke like everyone else?

You didn't read the description did you? "About the cluster...The cluster showcases our other brand new items coming out later this week: A 130 m.p.h. speedometer (look carefully at the markings on the speedometer dial, there's 13); a fuel gauge where the tach used to be (makes better sense/ "E & F" marks still lack being screened on the pre-production dial); a 7,000 rpm tachometer where the fuel gauge used to be (count the marks.. there's 14) for '500 rpm intervals'. The lense hasn't been silk screened, yet. This is the way the "General" should have done it... GM "wised-up", in 1973, putting the fuel gauge & tachometer in proper perspective. Looks stock at first glance. That's the way to do it."

I saw that auction last night. I like the idea, but for $180 for a 2" clock, I think my $30 Timex works just fine for telling time.
