drop questions

I just got my 17x8's on my truck. 255/60/17's on the front and 285/60/17's in the rear. The first pic is the way the truck is now with the stock suspension. I think the previous owner installed new springs front and rear. It looks like a 4x4 to me.... Anyway, the second pic is what I would like for it to look like. I'm planning on 2.5" spindles and 1" springs in the front and 4" springs in the rear. Will that give me the desired look? This truck will see mostly street time but occasional strip time. Thanks for any input.

PS. The rims are temporary until I swap the front drums for 5 lug disc and put the new rear end (5 lug) under it.

I think it will look good

man they built these trucks high off the ground I measured my 96K1500 at the bottom of the door to the ground it was 19" the 71 C10 with 225/70/15s is 19"
