Painting a dash bezel
just what it says.I want to paint one and have it look good. What color can I use where the chrome is that will look good? I notice the 67 I have has like a flat gray color.Anyone know what color that is,or something close?
Thanks

I have an all-over re-chrome I want to paint the textured part.Anyone mask-off chrome for paint here? How did it go,any problems?Brainchild, what do you think?2low72`s looks good.Is that the look? There are many choices in grey or silver.Darker grey metallics look cool, like gun metal.Aluminum is a nice silver that looks like,well,aluminum,w/o trying to be chrome.I like matching the glovebox door.On my GMC(blue/chrome bezel)I want to paint blue on a chrome g-box door, leaving the chrome around the edge.

I'm not using chrome,it's just too ghetto.Brushed alumium loos ok,not sure what it'll look like on this application though.
I was gonna get some wide tape, and an exacto, and tape around all the gauges, and do the inside around the gauges too, cause I'm a glutton for punishment I guess.I'll prolly wind up with a mess The silver needles look good. I'll snap a shot of the one in the 67 today. It's flat gray,no chrome.I was going for that look.
