spring mounting widths K20 and K30

I just read somewhere that there is a significant difference in mounting widths for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. I want to put my Dana 60 and 14 bolt FF from my rotted 1 ton on my solid 3/4 ton. Apparently, there is a difference of 4 to 6 inches or so. Anybody familiar with that? I really should get outside and measure it, but its too f@cking cold out. I am planning on stripping the one ton next weekend if I can finish stripping my Jimmy this weekend. Brrrr... I did hear from a reliable source that I need to use 1 ton brake hoses on the front axle in the K20.

the K30 is 2" narrower on the spring perches on the rear, front axle is a direct bolt in.

Jeremy, thanks for the reply. If the rear on the K20 is a FF (I don't think it is) and has the 10.5 inch ring gear (it shouldn't) and the gears are the same (4.10) then I would be all set. I guess if I had to, I could move the spring mounts and reweld them (pay someone who knows how to weld). Thanks for the info, that's a big help.

Is the K30 single rear wheel narrower too or just the dually rear?

all C/K30s share the same spring perch width, C/K 10s and 20s share the wider perches.
