Started On Removing The Head Gaskets. My Question Is: Before Pulling Out My Distributor I Need To Line Up My Ignition Point. So The Correct Point To Line It Up With The Mark On The Pully Dead Center On Zero.

if you dont plan on moving the crankshaft at all while its apart, and you want it all to go back together, then remove the dist. cap and then make a mark w/ a sharpie marker right where the rotor is pointing.. mark it on the distributor housing.. then make a mark on the valve cover or intake manifold where the nipple for the vacuum advance is pointing, to make it all failsafe and easy & fast to put back together..
