Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Didn't you hear about these big block LS1's??? Come on, it's like the $H!T these days. Haha. Not really, I am fabbing some long tubes using these as the basis for my LS1...

Do you have any pics of the LS1 swap in your truck?

Did you happen to keep tabs on the cost of the swap?

FirstGen, are you just mocking everything up or ready to cut & weld? Do you need some to just check for fit?

And you've prob already considered this, but wouldn't some headers for an Escolade work? I know they aren't cheap but how about fit?

When I did the LS1 swap into my 67 Camaro I used a set of the ZO6 headers. They have the O2 sensor in the back compared to the side like the F body. They flow good too. I bought mine off Corvette forum for $75 locally.

Yeah already been through the LS6 manifolds, they are great for quick install and low maint. Make about 15 hp less than good long tubes do though. Had a set of F-body long tubes on but they had to be all cut up to fit and I just didn't like them. Yeah

SCOTI Ecsalade headers would fit fine they just cost WAY too much... I'm ready to cut these and weld them up.

Staceydude - do a search for ls1/t56 swap and you should find my old thread. I posted many pictures and info there...
