run sideways

my dad said the truck was driving sideways down the road . the ass end is over to the driver side the frame looks stright any sug. 79 gmc

Also known as "dog tracking". A sign of bent frame or suspension components usually caused by an accident.

i dont think it been wrecked . the bed is over a little bit by the cab on pass side.

if it is leaf spring on it they could be out of alignment

I would look for a broken spring pack. This will cause it to track like this.
