I used to run a gunsmithing shop and I needed a commercial sized oven to bake assault rifles in after painting so I kept the oven after I was done with the business. I also have a 80 gallon 220 volt 175 psi 6 HP 19 cfm air compressor and a full sized Trinco sandblaster not to mention some pretty professional grade metal refinishing equipment, a cincinnati lathe and a bridgeport mill. woohoo.

I've done the dish washer thing for years...bummer we have no dish washer now though huh.
TIPS
If you wet down the whole dish washer before putting your greasy grimey gopher guts in there, it will clean much easier.
Also, I would always run basicly an empty run on the dish washer after the parts were removed, and I would put in the amount of soap as if it had dishes in there.
The heated drying cycle prevents flash rust.

My dream shop includes an oven, dish washer, fridge/freezer, and a washing machine.
The dish washer and washing machine can be had cheaply...who cares if they leak, it is a garage after all.

you should see the carnage when I wash my shop towels! I have to cycle the washing machine at least 3 times on hot afterwards. The secret to my marriage is that my wife works swingshift and I work days. I see her 2 days a week. Couldnt have it any sweeter!

One question: Now that they are clean, what are they gonna go in?

I ended up having to rebuild my 350 due to an errant wrist pin. The new motor is geared more towards gas mileage given its daily driver/commuter status and will feature 9.3 compression, world product s/r heads, performer intake, q jet or 4175 holley , very mild for me cam, hei, balanced scat 4340 rods, 4 bolt mains and steel crank for longevity etc. should be good running if not anemic.
