engine decoding? (tried nastyz28.com and mortec.com)
i used the numbers off the back of the block for mortec, and they showed my motor to be a 68 302, 68 327, or a 68 350... i cant find the suffix code off the front on nastyz28, here are the numbers

engine numbers
sounds to me as if you are using the wrong numbers. should be numbers with no letters. they will be cast into the block not stamped.

There is a chance that the "O" is actually a "0" (zero) making your suffix code HF. The suffix code is stamped into the machine pad on front pass. side of the block.

the 327 will have the breather coming out behind the intake, and have an oil fill in the front of the intake
