Truck is at teh body shop!!

Finally gonna get my cab corners fixed up. Both sides inner and outer. Gonna have them fix where the handles used to be too since that was a botched job, fix some other little paint problems, tune the carb, I might even have him shave my turn signals up front for now too.

OH yeah...he is gonna fix my headlight problem too, We think we have narrowed it down to the hi/lo switch in the column so off comes the steering wheel too.

Should be lookin purdy when I get it back.

On a side note....a guy came by and offered to buy it when I get it back out of the shop .....In the neighborhood of $20k. Hate to get rid of it but just dont have the time to play with the truck any more and sure dont have the money. SOld the bike this weekend so I dont wanna hear anyone say anything about it hahahah!

I thought you would never get it fixed...

If somebody offers you that much, and you don't have time for the truck, you should take it and run.

BTW, yours is one of my favorite 73-87s ever... I would never do all that stuff to a truck, but it all works together very nicely on yours.

Good to hear you're getting it fixed and may soon have some extra funds.

$20k?! Man! I know you have more than that INTO it, but I mean, come on, how often is someone gonna offer $20k for a C10? I'd take the money and run!

All of us have put a lot of time and money into our trucks, but if somebody offered me that much for mine, I agree, I'd take it and run, you can buy 4 more projects for that if you get bored!

hehe. I think Ken might be on to something here!
If funds allow and the sell goes through. I may be seriously considering Kens SUPER LOW MILEAGE HD Super Crew. I know its perfect if its his and hell, with those miles its basically brand new!

The T/A and the Tahoe will be getting paid off well 95% anyhow. So it will make things a lot easier.

Izzy...sorry we never did get together on the cab corners....but due to some extra time he owes me on work, its not gonna cost much at all.
