electrical problem

When I turn on the head lights, the right turn signal light comes on. No flashing, just lights up. Any ideas? Thanks

It's supposed to, that's one of your parking lights. The left one should come on too.

I think he means on his guage cluster. If so, it may be indicative of either your front or rear rh turn signal bulb being burnt out. Do both front and rear rh signals work?

I had this same problem....the dash cluster was grounded by a clip that just clipped on the bottom of the dash....replaced the clip with a crimp on terminal and screwed it to the bottom on the dash...no more problems

Whoops, should've read it better. Mine did that when I first started working on my truck, both of the indicators would light up when I turned the parking lights or headlights on but after I removed and re-installed the cluster after repainting the gauge needles it stopped. So it's probably a ground issue as mentioned above.

If you still have problems after trying to ground the guage cluster, try changing out the bulbs 1157's.check the bulb sockets inside for corosion or broken tangs.

Better to burn out than it is to rust
