Need replacement body for 1987 Blazer
Hi everyone, I am looking for a replacement body for my 1987 K5 Blazer. I have a very good driveline and motor but the body is beyond my repair abilities. I am open to about anything I can find that is close enough to me and in as good shape as possible. I would like to stay within the EFI years if possible, unless some one can tell me for sure that swapping to an older truck and keeping the fuel injection is easy! Either a Suburban or a Blazer/Jimmy or even a short wheel base truck. Either Chevy or GMC is O.K. also. It doesn't have to have a driveline or engine. I have those covered. I don't have any body repair skills, have never done it before so I would prefer as little rust as possible. If any one knows of anything within say 250 miles of the southeast corner of Indiana (real close to Cincinnati, Ohio) please PM me or send an email to the address in my profile.
Thanks, Mike |

How about a body tub? Can you change that if your frame and drivetrain are good? There is a yard here that has 4 body tubs 87-91 F.I. years. I will have too call them for prices.

Only if they come with good doors and tailgate. Mine are pretty well shot as well as the body. Would like the numbers for them though and appreciate the help.
