Camo??? I like a camo paint job. Helps hide a lot of flaws, and looks good in the woods too.

For a nice stright truck, I like a mercedes blue.

I'm all about black, dark grey, or Chrysler's "Midnight blue metallic" (which is what my truck will be when done)

I'm quite partial to green. It really stands out among the sea of black, white, silver, and red vehicles.

Definatly 2 tone with stock trim and where the white is do a real white pearl and viper red. the pearl would dance in the sun but not too bling bling. I'm all for the clean stock look but when the sun hits it just right it turns into s show truck.

Here's a link to color chips for 1971 chevy trucks. You can search for the paint chips for any year or make of vehicle at:

But I like med. olive with saddle interior... go figure

You've had plenty of color suggestions, so I'll not give you more. But I will state my opinion on the colors I would NEVER paint a '67/'72 pickup in order of least desirable first.......
Yellow (have you looked at a 10 year old truck painted yellow?) ........But the state highway department will love you!
Purple--are you serious!!
Blue...Belongs on baby blankets--not a truck!

Black--looks good on "straight" vehicles if the owner will keep clean and polished--otherwise not too great.
Red--nice, but WAY overdone--ok if you want to be just like the neighbors.

I hope you guys realize I'm just having a little fun.......paint it what YOU like

I like the hugger orange on the shortbeds. Longbeds I like the Hawaiian Blue/white or Red/white schemes.
