In bed gas fill
I don't know if this has been covered or not, so here goes.
I have seen alot of the fuel tank filler mods, like the tail light or side marker. Has anyone done an in the bed fuel filler on a steel floor bed? It seems like a no brainer with a wood bed, but the corrugated steel floor has me thinking this might be a problem. Any ideas? Dan.

I've thought about it myself, but it seems like a lot of metal work to do it. The only thing I figured was that I'm going to get a line X bedliner sprayed in, and that is about 3/16" thick, so I could flush in a billet fuel door into that, but aside from that, I'd just go with the marker or tail light. Those are such cool mods!

We are doing a 67 steel floor filler next week when we get the polished aluminum pump in tank done, I'm using a Dodge flip up fuel fill recessed into the floor. The tank, lines etc are aluminum for the LS-1 aluminum motor. e-mail me for progress pic's if interested. motrucker@prodigy.net
