Hey Gil,

I have one from a 79 Burban I do not know if it is the same. It does have cruise and tilt and I have the key for it. It is a very solid tilt with no play.

I live in Azle, tx. Not sure where you are but looks like a Texas area code.

If this intereast you please PM. Maybe there will be no shipping and I will let it go at a good price.

Regards,

Stacey

Here is a pic of the column

It is probably not what you are looking for as far as cruise goes. Also realized the wiper switch is on the dash panel.

I should also note, I am pretty partial to that steering wheel. But may have another.... If so I will let one of them go.

If you can use it let me know.

Regards,

Stace

Pulled one from an 86 Suburban yesterday .Not a running truck but it is in good shape .No key but the lock cylinder is only $12 at Autozone. It is a little drive from FT.Worth but I would let it go for $75. I would have to check on shipping .It is complete from the steering wheel to the shaft that bolts to the steering box. Frank

Hey Gents,

Gil, if Franks tilt will work for you, I have to drive down to the Houston area on Saturday to pick up a shortbed frame and cab. If Frank will meet me with the tilt on highway 6 or whatever road that is I will be glad to bring it back up to you here in Fort Worth and drop it off on the way home from work.

Let me know asap to plan on it.

Regards,

Stace

This sight has to be one of the best forums I've ever been to. Stace, I would appreciate that so much, and I'd compensate you for the extra drive if this deal goes down.

Now the only question is if this column will work for what I need it to. Does the column have every thing that was stated in the post? You know, steering wheel w/chevy horn, automatic on the column, cruise control, delay wipers, and tilt?

Let me know Frank and we get this deal planned out today.

Thanks again fellas,

Gil.

TTT for Frank,

Gil did you send Frank a PM.

I do not need any extra compensation. It is right on the road to where I am going.

I just need to have Frank bring it to the highway so I do not have to drive along ways or wait along time. I will be burning daylight....

This has turned into a busy trip

I will PM both of you my cell number as well.

Regards,

Stace
