VIN Decode
Can someone decode this VIN for me. I know what the truck is but cant find info on it. Want to know if its factory four wheel. Thanks for any help you guys can provide. Chuck

Andy, That is good info but it doesnt jive for this vin. No letter for the plant or code for the number 6 in the body style. Maybe in 67 they did it differently. I was thinking the vin had been changed as truck has four by frame that looks factory. I'm no expert by any means but this could be a rare truck if it came factory. 67 1/2 4x4 panel, here is a pic. A little rough but could be saved. Chuck

Vin Decoding Results
VIN CS1576193917 Model Year 1967 Chassis 2 Wheel Drive Body Style (unknown code) GVWR Range 3600-5600 Cab-To-Axle Dimension Engine 6-Cylinder Assembly Plant Oakland, CA Sequential Number 193917 Still has unknown code for body style, anyone else have any info to add. Unless the 6 comes up as a panel I'm guessing the vin was changes at some point.

Thanks Rod, I guess I need some stronger reading glasses as I made an booboo on it. S looked like a 6, what a dumba$$ I am. Thanks guys guess its just a plain no frills panel.
