New Stance

I went to a local swap meet this weekend to sell a few things and guess what I found? a set of 2.5" front springs and 4" rear springs! What do you think? It rides suprisingly well. I'll get some better pics this afternoon.

I think it looks GREAT! I think that is the perfect stance for a functional truck.

17x8's all the way around. 285/60's on the back and 255/60's on the front (ala Copperhead....) wheel brand is unknown, looked like the enkie symbol but I'm not sure. They are just temporary until I swap over the 5 lug disc brake setup and 5 lug posi rear end. I'll put'em up for sale here cheap after I make the swap.

I just heard some friends talking about the swapmeet, so I went to their website and got the details.

I bought the truck on December the 28th, so tomorrow I will have had it month. Since then, I've put on a new dash pad, installed some autometer gauges, new front chrome bumper and tailgate (thanks Randy!), put on new wheels and tires, and installed the front and rear springs you see in the pics.

I'm picking up the '72 donor truck this weekend that has the 5 lug disc brake front end and 3.73 rear. I'll rebuild both of those and install, then shortly after that I'll drop the 496 Torque Monster in it and be done for awhile....

Hey, I just went over 1,000 posts!

I think it could go down an inch. I like the level look.
