haha i guess i was wrong!!
the alarm is pulling .02 amps... but its not the one draining the battery.
whenever i leave the heat/ac switch in any position but off, it will pull 1.02 amps. i had the heater in the OFF position yesterday so i didnt see it pulling anything. the battery was dead today again, so i noticed i left the heater in the on position last night. the blower motor isnt going, its just drawing power. how can i fix this?? besides just remembering to turn it off when i shut the truck off.. |

get a relay and tap it into the key on wire going to your radio or something with that wire- that way it turns off when the keys off. put the other side of the relay on the constant on wire to the heater switch.

how do you know its actually the motor drawing power? It should be making a noise if so.. I bet its a junk relay or a short or something else... just wondering..
