Question Help with eng. code

Bought a complete engine today for my 69,need help finding what it came out of.
V0802TDR,on deck by the head,
3970010 on the block on the back of the bellhousing flang.

Thanks in advance.

It even has crome timeing cover & crome oil pan(like I needed that)bonus!

Head number: V-Flint plant, 0802: August 2nd build date, TDR: Truck 71,72,80 350, '71 350 had 255 hp, '72 had 175 and the '80 had 170hp All are LS-9, 4 bbl carb, '71-'72 K10 or K20, '80 c10 truck. The block number is a common one too: 3970010 350, 69-79 truck 2 and four bolt main. Looks like a '71-'72 motor.

there was no 3970010 in 1980- the block casting was changed in 80 and the oil stickj moved ot pass side, its the 72 one, congrats, thats a damned good block, and is truck so its four bolt for sure and maybe high nickel content also(*stornger and less wearing more durable)

web pages have a typo regarding the 69-80 bit
they need to fix that, but its too late now almost all the sites copied off each other, so...
