Definitely not stock!!!
Look what I found on a LWB for sale at a dealership near my work.
Any idea what that is, besides maybe a dealer add on cell phone? Blower in the bed has me stumped though, what in the heck is it for?

The phone thing looks like it might be a CB radio? Not sure about the blower!

That is a pre-cellular mobile phone. They were around in the late 70s-early 80s.Very expensive. Is the blower hooked into the heat system?I`ve seen trucks with caps have a radiator(baseboard)in the bed with hoses running to them from the truck`s heater-core.

The radio I believe is a Johnston VHF radio they were quite common but not popular back in the 60 and early 70s, used by a lot of ambulance, fire, and rescue companies. What you see is just the head unit the actual radio is pretty big and probably mounted under the seat if it would fit.
In bed heat cool.

I agree Tn ,,,,,camper set up. Notice the sliding back glass. The camper probably also had a sliding window in the front so every body could talk to each other !!!!!

Didn't they make intercoms that ran between the cab and bed of atruck if it had a camper top installed? That would also explain the rear heater.

It can be yours for $2500 cash! It ain't a bad looking truck, but it ain't a good looking truck either. Not a whole lot of rust, but it's bent and dented pretty good.

We had those same phones in the trucks of a company I worked for years ago. Just looks like a blower in the back to move air. What would be the heat source?
