steering boxes
ok this may sound messed up but would a manual steering box mount up fine and work fine if the truck came with and has a power steering box on it? besides maybe an allignment what else would i have to look for? i know the pump can come off of the engine and everything else for the power steering, but are the shafts the same length?
Thanks a lot Rat

I think you also have to trade pitman arms, the pitman arms are different for manual steering and power steering. I think that's it though, hear its an easy swap. A lot of guys around here are trying to clean up their engine compartment and are switching from p/s to m/s.
