finally got another 68

I just bought it tonight. It`s a 68 short fleet.Actually it`s a 68 "custom"cab and frontend,a 72 bed and a 70 frame. It has 72 discs up front and a 71-72 3.08 posi rear. It has a 396/th400 from a 70 caprice and I was told the motor has about 60k on it. It has factory gauges but I don`t know if they are originally from this truck. it also has a van tilt installed. The body is in pretty good shape. It still needs a few things to get it on the road but not as much as my old 70 needed. I`m going to get it home on Sunday, the guy is even going to haul it home for me but it`s only about 4 miles away. I think it`s a pretty good start. The guy I got it from has done a bunch of these trucks and has alot of 67-72 parts as well as 55-59 parts. I`ll post some pictures when I get it home. I`m just glad to have another one finally.

I`ll definately get some pictures up for you guys. It`s a pretty clean truck but it still needs a few things to get it on the road. At least my screen name matches again, lol.
