4x4 light on all the time in my 88 K1500

[88K1500inAZ]

In my 88 K1500 the 4x4 light is alwas on.

I have changed out the Actuator on the transfer case, and that did not help.

If I leave the Actuator plugged in, it seems like it wants to try and go into 4wd, no matter what gear I am in, or even moving.

I hear about a switch on the "T Case"?

Not sure how hard to change, or even if it is a DEALER only item , not from my local Car Quest?

yeah check the switch easy to find follow the wires down but first test them. I ran into one whre the wires rubbed through and it was feeding current into other wires causing this same problem.
