Found a deal on a set of 88-98 drop shackles, looks like they'll fit ours too, will they?

I have a 73 swb. I had to shorten the shackles and cut a notch in the bed crossmember

yes,they will interchange.I used a set of drop shackles for an 83 on an 89 years ago,so there's no reason it wouldn't work the other way

Yeah they will. The frames are pretty damned similar. Just gotta notch the bed a little. 10 minute job.

They fit from 73-87, 88-98, 99-current.

So is that a no, or a yes Izzy? Are you saying anything from 73-current will interchange, or 73-87's only interchange, then 88-98's, then 99-current?

I have a 75 stepside and would like to do a shackle kit... what modification needs to be done to get the 88-98 in there?
