Did 67's come with BB?
I was told that the frame was narrower on 67's, so a BB wouldn't fit unless you do some cutting on the frame. Anybody with a stock 67 BB truck out there? got any pics? thanks..

BB was not available in 67trucks. The largest v8 was 327. 68 was the first year of BB in trucks. Hope this helps. Harold

67 Bbc
The frame in the early 67 (maybe all 67) is the same width - however the top edge of the channel on 68 and up is narrower. Just the top flange. The 68 and up frame is 1 3/4" wide starting in front of the mount and running back to the relief near the manual trans crossmember. The 67 frame must be cut to use 72 BBC frame mounts. I don't know about the 68 to 71 BBC frame mounts. Also without the relief the stock exhaust manifold on the pass. side is very close the frame.
The factory did not put BB in 67 model trucks. t

Pic
Over on the parts board look at the picture of the 67 frame 4sale by stateamind. You can see how the top flange runs full width through the engine mounting area.
