junkyard score!

Headed out to the junkyard today since the weather was nice and even though theres 3 to 4 feet of snow out there I got some good deals. '71 GMC headlight bezels, 2 white painted hubcaps, dash with green color matching bezel, and a pair of pliers I found in the cab. '67 Chevy Custom cab horn button, Spicer Hub Lock Installation and Operating guide, owners manual, protection plan booklet (someone had torn off the protecto-plate though), plastic manual envelope, SM420/T221 shift knobs, some misc. parts I found all for $10! Pretty good haul, could've gotten more outta there but just didnt' have time and I'll be back in spring to get some more stuff when the snow is just about gone.

and theres plenty more I could've gotten for just a little more too but dont' have any use for it. I'll be back in spring or whenever I get bored with classes and make a run out there again to pull some more stuff.

Even if you don't have a use for them, you could still rescue/recover them to sell. Great score though. Makes me want to visit one 'yard near me now.

I'll go back one of these days and strip parts that are good. Just couldn't justify it on this trip. Theres a 4speed and a t-case combo that I want to get for my wheeling truck so I'll definately be back for that.
