If it is that bad, I'd bet the windshield frame is shot too. A tub swap sounds like it is more in order than swapping panels. It isn't impossible though - look what GEE EMM has done with the 2wd Jimmy. It just depends on your skill level and willingness. Of course, GEE EMMs motivation was due to the extreme rarity of a 2wd Jimmy.

Sounds like he probably wont go that low on the price so I will have to continue my search. I would like to build it myself so if anyone hears about a Jimmy/Blazer in the Missouri area (within a few states) keep me in mind.

treyvette17 just to let you know,
I wasn't meaning to be harsh, just straight forward. Welcome to the board. Good luck and keep looking, you'll find one soon I'd bet. |

![]() ![]() To take that one on, though would be a labor of love. Definite tub swap time, and you'd QUICKLY be way over the price of better truck. Now, if you COULD get it cheap, and you had intentions of swapping in a fiberglass body, that would be a good donor. In that shape I wouldn't even offer $200. I'd foot the bill for the title swap and call it a deal. No way even the junkyard would give him anything for it. Brian |

Actually my motivation was due to the fact that you don't see any 69-72 K5's around here, nevermind for sale. It only occured to me afterwards that I could have gone somewhere down south and bought one ![]() |
