dash lights won`t come on.
i just bougt an 85 c-10 and i don`t have any dash lights, i checked the fuses,any suggetions??

dimmer or something in the wiring. whip out your multi-meter.

Had the same problem, pulled out an replaced light switch, problem solved.

if the fuel gage quites workin to when you turn the head lights on. ihad this problem it is in the gage cluster and u will have to find a different cluster to put in.

If the fuel gauge quits working when you turn your headlights on (and your signal lights in the dash come on, along with the high beam indicator being reversed) then your ground is bad. Check the ground at attaches to the bolt on the emergency brake.
