battery isolator question

hi guys, anyone here ever install a sure power battery isolator? question is on the 12si alternator, what goes on the e term of the isolator?? the instructions don't mention the 10si or the 12si.. sure hope someone can help..thanks j berkeley

I have no idea what a 10 or 12si is but may be you can contact the Mfg. and see what they say by the number of replys to your post i think its safe to say no one is using one of these batt. iso's.

a 10 and 12si is the type of alt. 3 wire..thanks for the reply..intend to call sure power on monday...

what are you using a isolater for?? I have never had good luck with them.. I found using a old ford solenoid wired correctly to take the load off the electrical system works great and is much cheaper.

i use it for duel batteries, main battery is for starting, and second is for the lights, radio,on-board air and fog lights..is there another way to set up a duel battery system?? thanks joe b
