F/S 70 3/4 ton 4x4

I wanted to see if there is any interest in my 70 3/4 to 4x4 my duaghter refers to as Ketchup. I have a 72 3/4 ton 4x4 that is Ochre that she calls Mustard. I hate to break up the team but can't have 2 restos going at one time. It has a 350/350 w/NP205. Motor runs smooth and tranny shift great, came with factory engine block heater that work great. I just finished putting the NP205 linkage back together and it is tight. There is a ujoint on the front axle that is shot that will be replaced on wednesday. After that the 4wd is good to go. It has P/B, P/S, new battery, water pump, dome light, and replaced tranny lines. All of the breaks were replaced 4 months ago to include brake cylinders. P/S works well. It has fairly new exhaust and mufflers. I noticed to day it has a leak at one of the connections that I will fix before it sells. It has factory A/C with all of the components intact. It blew cold this last summer but the compressor was starting to squeal so I removed the belt. The interior is all stock, needs the seat recovered and a ned drivers door panel. The bed was put on by the PO, it has very little rust, one stop near the tailgate, other than that, pretty clean with only surface rust. The door and fenders are workable, both fenders have rust in the front lower section and the doors are better than exspected with no speaker holes. The cab needs some work. Cab corners, inner/outer rockers, drivers side floor, cab supports. This truck is all original w/ no mods that I can see. Electrical all works and not hacked up. Even has the heat riser on it. Over all for a daily driver I would go anywhere with it. The first $1700.00 I get can have it. Any question let me know.

Thanks, Scott

Do you have a picture of under the cab? Would you be interested in meeting someone half way to look at the truck?

4bynut - I live in southern Minnesota, about 1/2 an hour from Ia right off HWY 35. If you need more pics let me know. If you want it I can meet you half way.

Low69cst - I would love to able to meet half way. But I own 2 restaurants in the twin cities and can't seem to take time off for more than a day right now. I can still send pics if you want.

Thanks, Scott

4BYNUT & Da Burb - no rust on the outside or inside of the top of the cab. Still has drums all the way around. I'm on for 2nd shift tomorrow so I will get more pics and send them to you guys. I forgot to mention, it does have a 5000lb tow hitch installed. Da Burb, I love the ochre, my favorite factory color in these trucks. Mines a little faded but a new paint job in the near future.

Thanks, Scott

Man that looks like a buy, I bought one last week or I'd be thinking about a road trip. Good luck, you shouldn't need it though.

Ketchup has a new home.

I'm proud to say that "Ketchup" has a new home in east-central Minnesota and she's everything Scott described. My future plans will be to restore "Ketchup" back to her old glory while I keep her in operation to do minimal tasks around the yard. I will probably be in the market for some clean sheetmetal and other miscellaneous parts in the near future, so I would really appreciate it if you would drop me an e-mail and let me know if you can help.

Also, I currently have for sale a 1972 Chevy short-wide box 2wd pickup and a 1989 Chevy 1/2-ton 4x4 W/T. Trades considered. E-mail me at tclift2078@aol.com for further info.
