Interior Question
I have a quick question and was wondering if anybody could help me out. Im in the process of redoing my truck and im to the point were i need to start gathering parts for the rebuild. My question is that i have a dash pad in my truck and im not sure what color it is because it is not really a red but like a redish brown. I posting some pictures of the dash pad, door panel and visors, hopefully it will help. Thanks in advance.

Now I'm a little color blind but it looks to me like there is two different colors there to me. Are you gonna redo them? I take it you want the visors and all to match? It looks like burgundy to me.

Nope, your're not color blind. The door panels and visors are definitely red. The dash pad and the area between pad and windshield and defrost outlets are that burgundy color. Maybe maroon ??
I don't really care what is is called, but no catalogs I have or web sites I have checked so far seem to match the dash pad and I want to order a new one. just put the pics of the visors and panels in for reference. This is from a 68 Chevy. I really don't want them to match, I am trying to use original colors. Thanks |
