Gas Tanks

What Are You Guys Using For Gas Tanks Original Or Aftermarket. The One On My 67 Is All Rusted Out Inside And I Need A New One Trying To Get Ideas On What To Use. What Is Price Difference In Orig. And Aftermarket What Is Easier To Install.

If it is your '67 Longbed and you still have the incab tank, they are readily availble used for $25-$30 or so in great condition, especially in Texas.

Hell, I have 2 like new tanks in my garage

If you are talking about the in cab tank too bad you are in texas, I'm in alabama and would give you the one out of mine. I relocated to under bed using a chevy luv tank.

For about $250

Tank, brackets from summit, 13 ft of 3/8 fuel line, 1 cap for the second fuel outlet on tank, 1 90 degree fitting, 1 piano hinge, 4 hours of labor

I relocated my tank fairly cheap and easy. The tank comes with a gm sender. A little cutting here and there and it bolted up great. I made a small square cut in the bottom of the bed, welded a piano hinge to each side and couple tabs around the corners for little extra support and my filler compartment was complete.
