headlight and turn signal problem

Im having a problem with my passenger side headlight. It started a couple weeks ago when my drivers side turn signal indicator came and stayed on with the headlights on. It only goes off when the left turn signal is engadged, then it acts normal. I found my drivers side turn signal bulb out, so I replaced it. This made the drivers side indicator turn off back to normal, but then the passenger side one came and stayed on. Again, same as drivers side, I found the bulb out. I replaced it, but the passenger side indicator is still on. Also, my passenger side headlight is hardly putting any light out at all. I put a new one in, no change. I checked all the wiring by the headlights, everything looks ok. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Sounds like you might have a ground problem. Check the ground wires that bolt up to the radiator support, I think there are some on both sides. Make sure they are clean and tight. Hope that helps.

Also check the ground wire in the driver side rear tail light behind the assembly.

No, neither lights come on during braking, but the right side one is always on unless the turn signal is engaged.

Dig up your wiring diagrams and Ohm out your headlight switch. Or just replace it to see if that changes things (about $10-15 if I remember correctly) All kinds of goofy lighting issues can occur if your switch is going bad as all power for the dash gauges runs through it if you trace the wires back.
