FS: Carter 500 CFM 9503 Manual Choke

First $40 + ride takes. Paypal preferred.

Ran good when pulled, good for the 305'ers out there. Going to a 600CFM carb for the 350.

Would recommend a clean up/rebuild kit for it. Internals look good, for the price, it's worth it.

Can an electric choke be fitted to that model of carb?
Thanx Dano

To the very best of my knowledge, the Carter 9503 is the equivelant of the Edelbrock 1404. The electric choke kit below from Edelbrock will bolt to the 9503.

Electric Choke Kit ....#1478
Includes all parts necessary to convert #1404, #1405, #1407 and #1412 Edelbrock Performer Series carburetors to electric choke.

I just confirmed with someone from carburetion.com that the #1478 will work with the Carter AFB.

$9.00 total shipping UPS ground. Grand total of $49.00. If I over estimated, I will refund the extra.

FYI, Rebuild kit will run you around $25 or so if you take that route. Just want to make it a good deal for you.

It came off of a Chevy 350. It is a universal linkage carb. I really don't know enough about a 307 to tell you.
