Steel Wheels...
I was wondering if anyone or everyone can give me some info on old style steel wheels that these trucks had (in my case 6 lug for a 4wd). I'm not talking spilt rims tho.
Where can I get my hands on a set of these? Any chance I can get them with a little bit deeper dish look to 'em? I'm toying with the idea of running stock hub caps kinda like the look the Truck below I posted has except with a more aggresive treaded tire. I guess I want to run Stock Caps but without the "Tall and Skinny" look they can have, that's why the hope for getting a wider set like the ones pictured. Thanks for any Info... Brian

brian, your truck would look awesome with some caps on it. i think blazers came out with a deep dish wide rim but i think its a pretty rare option, and i dont think you can put caps on them either. what kind/size tires are you lookin at? im getting a headache trying to figure out what to do with tires for my truck.

Well, I'm looking to put some money into my truck this year and one of those things it needing is new tires. So I was seeing what the feezabilty(sp?) is in maybe getting stock style wheels, caps with those new tires I need anyway. Do it all in one go type of thing.
I know what your talking about when you say headache in figuring out what to do for tires. I'm there...that's why I figured I'd ask about wheels and caps first and get me motivated to actually pick a kind/size of tire to go with 'em.

Brian, I was thinking the same thing for my GMC when I put the stepside on. I was going to run 255/80R16 BFGs. On 7" wide stock rims if I can find them, well I know where there's a set of rims, don't know if I can pry them from the owner though.

Call these guys, I am going the old school look too and they can make any size wheel that will accept stock hubcaps.

Did you paint your truck? Looks good!
Discount tire also carries some of the "stock" rims that Stockton has.

I got mine on ebay and then later had them powder coated. They seemed to be just what I was after and I have been really pleased with the look. They have a 3 -7/8 offset which gives them a deeper look.
I probably paid to much but what the hey we live once http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43955 |
