That is going to be one sweet looking truck. Keep us up on the progress. I am going to go look at a 1 ton crew cab this weekend to make a project out of. I hope it is in good shape.

I sell a kit for to make the vent windows stationary for only $100. It looks just like RTV Silicone and even comes in the same tube, but it's not. It's $100 Fix-A-Vent. Just kidding.
Anyway, that is a nice looking truck. I like the color, it matches my new bike. I say keep the vent windows (I love mine and wish new cars and trucks still had them).

harikay, what rear axle is in your truck? i came across one a few months ago with a 1 ton Cab and Chassis dual rear wheel 14 bolt under it. makes for a really agressive look.

I have seen this done with plexiglass. It was driven by a young kid. I asked him how they done it, he said that just bought a bunch of plexiglass and started cutting. They had to cut several as they kept braking when they tried to put them in. It looked really good from a distance, but up close was a different story. They didn't appear to be very strong and looked rather flimsey. When he opened and shut the door, they rattled, and on top of that, he said they couldn't come up with a way to make them roll up and down, so they were stationary. Sorry, but I like my windows to go up and down!
