??Late model speedo sender unit question??

Anybody know if the electric speedo sender unit from the trans of a late model s-10 or fullsize will fit other transmissions.....say a T350? I would like to modify my dash using later model electric gauges from s-10, if the speedo sender can be made to work somehow. Any ideas..........Greg

You can get a box to convert a mechanical signal (cable) to electric. Go to Cable-X. Last time I checked they were about $300. You couldn't just do the sending unit as there is a ring internal to the tranny. You could do it but it would take a tail shaft/case change.
