engine? decode & rebuilding ideas?

VO915TDA or V0915TDA
suposebly a 68 camao 327, blows smoke, has bevel seat plugs in it, dad says that shouldn't be for a 68 motor?? just lookin to see waht it is and andIdeas on places for getting cheap ebuild parts. looked in PAWS didn't know where everyone else used.thanks

TDA is a truck motor, not from a car. Get the casting number to positively ID which truck motor it is.

Blows smoke all the time or only at startup? Blue smoke or white smoke? How's the compression? May only need valve stem seals.
