Valve Cover Auction to raise money for this board.

Here's something I want to do that I think will be kind of fun and help Josh keep this place going.

Here is a set of old SBC valve covers I've had hanging on my wall for a long time. They have been bead blasted and painted POR15 Chevy Orange. If you look close, they have the Chevrolet script on them.

I'm putting them up for auction. Auction will end Sunday night at 9 o'clock Texas time. Highest bidder gets these valve covers delivered to his address anywhere in the U.S.

If you win the auction, send the winning bid amount to Josh however you want, Paypal and Snail Mail or whatever. When Josh confirms with me that he got the money from you, I'll ship them to you.

It's my way of giving to the board and making a little game out of it too.

Post your bids here in the thread for public viewing, not PM's please.

I've sent pickup and car parts to Canada before.....not really any hassle at all. It's actually even pretty cheap. Let 'em play

Hey Pisionnos, have then shipped to the UPS warehouse at the border and go pick them up. You only have to pay the GST.

Hey TEX, I'd be interested in a clean L6 valve cover. Maybe a vintage one with the "Chevrolet" script or one of those cast-aluminum finned jobs, that say "Clifford" or "Offenhauser"? Can us L6 guys play?

Mr Dale, you own a set of valve covers. If you would forward the money to Josh, I'll get them packaged up for shipping.

Orange Sunshine, all of my inline stuff is later model, without the script on the covers. I do have a pile of generic 250 and 292 covers though, but I'd imagine you do too.
