make sure it's empty, damn thing is awkward as it is, fuel moving around does not help. I recommend removing the seat first.

I agree. Remove the seat, Remove the tank cap and grommet, remove as much of the gas as you can (not required), unbolt the tank and sending unit and remove

Post some pics of this truck

It's a complete bolt-in. You may prefer to cut the filler neck grommet out rather than fight with it-- a razor knife will do it in fairly easily. Then, across the bottom of the tank, there are a handful of bolts and rectangular washers holding the tank it. Remove the bolts, snip the outlet line on the bottom center of the tank, and it's ready to pull out of the cab. Plan on 1-3 finger cuts due to sharp edges and a 37% probability of shin scrape.

Yah it's extremely easy, I thought the same thing

BTW cut the grommet, soooo much easier.

And if I can do it myself, without scratch's, anybody can.

If you arer using it for racing go with an 8 gallon. But if you want to use it for cruising go with a 16 or 20 gallon cell. Try Mopac down there we have one up here and they are resonably priced

I have a 20 gallon cell in my truck and it is just right! Iit is pretty big and takes up some space but I like the way it looks :-) its right in the front of my bed, and it holds just enough fuel for cruising around. On the track though I empty the tank completly and pour in 2-gallons of c-16 for better running and less weight.
