good news

i dont know if any of you care or not but i got my spark plugs changed and put a stant superstat in my truck went over and turned the key and it fired right up first shot and ran like a champ. looks like the head gasket isnt blown. no water in the oil. no signs on the plugs and with the rad cap off it doesn't puff up through there either so i think im ok.

It's nice when a problem isn't as serious (or expensive) as was first thought

umm it's mentioned in a couple....basically my truck started running like crap....then it stalled and blew the bottom rad hose off. we thought it was puffing compression into the cooling system. everyone i talked to said check the plugs and see if one was clean because the water and antifreeze would steam clean one. i checked them and all the plugs were NASTY so i replaced the plugs put it all back together and everything looks ok
