Looks like the reply in question was deleted. Oh well, I was just wondering how anyone could not like it? It's straight, highly detailed and looks great.
BTW- We love you too. |

Very Nice truck, looks like first rate work. Definitely the only truck of it's kind.

Ok, move over Copperhead, I'd take that truck over Copperhead any day! Don't get me wrong I love Copperhead too, but I'd rather have a truck like a truck and leave the fast street machines to the cars. That's why I have my Z28 as well as the truck.

He did a great job taking a '67-'72 Suburban and cutting the back off and making it look like a factory-built cab! I've always wanted to build an Avalanche-style '67 or '68 Suburban by cutting the cargo part of the roof off behind the rear doors, keeping the Suburban body otherwise intact, and making the back part open, and enclosing the cab area. You'd have a 4-1/2' cargo area, the stock Sub tailgate (modified to eliminate the latch button and the top portion smoothed), and you could do a wood floor like a regular bed truck had. The Sub had a plywood rear floor, anyway!

It is a nice truck...personally I dont like the IFS and the painted dash, but its still a sweet truck that a lot of time, money, effort, and intelligence went into the creation of.

I think it is great looking and a lot of effort was involved. I have only one question about it though. Why 3 door? The "crew cab" thing is kinda limited by the fact that the rear is only accessable from the passenger's side.
I do like the suicide door ........but only one? |

I wondered that too, but someone suggested that he used a suburban to create the cab, which makes sense, and subs only ever had a 3rd door on the pass. side.
