327 for sale in DFW

I have decided to go another route with my Blazer, and so I need to sell the engine I picked up for it. I bought the 327 form another board member, Staceydude. It has about 800 miles since the rebuild. Nothing exotic, but a solid rebuild, RV cam, and new Edelbrock dual plane intake (Performer?) and 600 Holley w/electric choke. It has chrome oil pan, timing cover, and valve covers also. This would be a great replacement for a tired engine. looking to get $800, carb to pan less distributor.

Hey All,

I can vouch for this motor. If I did not have the big eyes for the BBC I would buy it

back.

Runs damn good

All the parts were new like Jon said, new Holley, new manifold, new cam, new internals

etc.

On top of it all Jon is easy to deal with and one of the good guys on the board.

Regards,

Stacey

Thanks,

I really don't know a whole lot else. I had someonme reply on another board where I have this posted that the casting number (3892657) is for 67 Camaro 302, 327, and 350 engines. This engine would actually have the small journals in that case. From the way it ran, I would guess that the pistons are not flat top, but just a stock replacement. It has an RV cam, but it isn't terribly aggressive. The engine was clean (no leaks) and looked fresh. I didn't get any reciepts, but it gave every indication of being freshly rebuilt.

I might just rebuild my 350 I'm just seeing if it might be a little cheaper going with something already rebuilt. Thanks for the honest answer.

Guys, I don't know squat about the motor Jonboy has for sale. I can tell you he will be as honest as possible about it though. I have dealt with Jon in the past and he went out of his way to describe my parts as honestly as possible, and was more than fair on his price....

FWIW, if you didn't want the carb and intake, I would sell it a bit cheaper, too.

Thanks, Ken.
