Need Help Decoding Engine #'s

Looking at doing it again - pulling out a perfectly good built 350 for a big block. If anybody has a book, it would be greatly appreciated if they could give me the year and description of this 396 motor. The #'s I was given are: Block - 3902406 Date E 18 7 Hi Perf block. Head - 3909802 Date D 6 7 Thanks.

block is a 1967 396, HP range (325, 350, 375) and can be 2 or 4 bolt.
heads are for 66-67 396 (hp 325 or 350), OVAL PORT - Valve size 2.06 intake, 1.72 exhaust.

If you can find a number that is located just in front of the passenger side head, where the head and block meet, that number will give you a good idea what this engine was in from the factory.
