Salina Swap Meet ??? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Any fellow "flatlanders" in Kansas hear tell of a swap meet in Salina the first weekend of March? Buddy at work knows I am into 67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks and 68-72 A-body Chevelles and asked me if I was going. Haven't heard anything about it 'til today. Anyone near Salina that can give further details, such as where is it located, dates and times it is running, etc. About a two hour road trip which is do'able. ????

Randy, I met Mike at the Wichita Swap Meet couple weeks ago. Guess if I had known about it then that would have been a good time to ask him. Will give him a PM, thanks. Enjoy your cruise, where are you crusing to? My wife and I went on a one week cruise to the Bahamma Islands couple years ago, had a GREAT time. Enjoy !!!

Me and my dad went down to the Wichita swap meet and didn't see anything saying there was to be a Salina Swap Meet. My dad grabs all the flyers at every meet we go to, I will check them tonight to make sure. Trevor

Gary, we are leaving out of Miami, headed to Nausau and Cococay in the Bahamas not sure where else, its a 3 day 4 night cruise. Never been on one before I hear all you do is eat and drink!!!!

Randy, Just a little tip you may want to consider when you go to the Bahamma's. Take a LOT of single $1 bills with you. When my wife and I were there couple years ago you could use US currency without having to exchange for local currency. Trouble is when you purchase a small, inexpensive $8 - $9 item the standard saying was " Sorry, don't got no change, Man". Winds up being a $10 item then.

Be sure and try the deep fried Conch fritters with that cold beer, outstanding munchies with a beer.

Trevor, would really like to hear any input about a swap meet in Salina. Hate to drive a two hour trip and find out there is nothing to it.
