Very nice!

A lot of fine work done there!

Did you paint the insides of the fenders and hood/interior already, or are you doing that next? I ask because in two weeks or so, the prep work begins on mine. Welding is just about done, and I just have to intall the top end of the engine. I'm painting the inside of the fenders and hood (firewall is done already), but havent decided if I will attempt to do the dash, insides of the doors, and such while it is assembled. It seems to me that it would be safer than having to try to hang freshly painted doors and fenders/ hood.

How about a step by step?

With the old engine out I pretty'd up my wiring and I painted under the hood and inner fenders, the whole engine bay, The only thing I regret is not painting the interior with the windshield out (got a new one installed) but all that means is an extra 20 minutes taping off the windshield from the inside. I've pretty much got everything else taped off and sanded on the inside.

Like I planned from the begining shes for sale..... I think I'll try ebay unless someone wants to throw down $7000.00 now lol... I'll have more completed pics soon, I got new chrome bumpers front and rear (yes I have the GMC hood letters) that pic was taken right after it rolled out of the booth, and I have the fender chrome pieces. going to get brand new carpet with new chrome door strips, the rear sides and tailgate will be rino-lined (on inside) motor is a 283 with edelbrock carb and weiand intake all brackets are painted purple and match. I'll get more pics soon....

It's remarkable what a little paint will do to these old trucks. You got that one looking real straight and clean. I'm glad you stayed with GMC instead of changing to Chevy like a lot have been.
