GMC- small letter vs large letter tailgate
Can someone post a picture showing the difference bet. the two tailgates. A picture of the whole tailgate would be nice. I can't tell the difference bet. the early GMC tailgate pictured for sale in the parts board and my 72 GMC gate. Unless I have a early tailgate on my '72??

Hey! I have that exact tailgate on my truck! (the one pictured, not just a small letter gate). I bought that from PICKMUP last year. Of course now it's in gray primer and has no trim.
I had a pic of a big letter gate but can't find it right now, but the letters are noticably larger.

Its more the area of the surrounding area that the metal has been depressed thats larger, that's what I notice more than the size of letters.
68-up have a larger area recessed.

thanks
Thanks now I see the difference. I kept comparing the "M" to the handle and couldn't tell any difference from pictures. Here is mine. Original paint 72. What do you guys think about this stock bumper. I have a chrome sport bumper that I am thinking of using but I think this ones kinda neat too. Maybe clean it up and paint it white or have it chromed. Any opinions.
