2wd to 4wd conversion...
want to convert my '72 c-20 to 4wd
at some point... any one done this?

My experience with the idea, I checked it out and found it would be easier and cheaper to locate 4x4 running gear and transfer the body and engine over. Way too many differences, and when you're done, you may not be able to get parts for your creation either. E-mail me if you want, but the differences are kind of daunting. Besides, you have to get the running gear somewhere, might as well grab the frame too.

Lots ask and all get the same thing, go buy a 4x4 or a rolling 4x4 chassie. Your looking at a lot of work and money, and it's rear that they ever get finished.
